Jul 8, 2013 at 7:39 comment added MartinL I know usually people use charcoal since it has much more "filtering" capacity due to its nano-holes, which catches easily various molecules. Since I am not interested in a bacteria-free water or even removing chimicals (recycling company will do it), do I still need charcoal or regular coal would do ? I am planning to conduct an experiment this week. With proper measurements, I will be able to share my results with you.
