It is not long since floods of people were re-locating from my country (the still United Kingdom) to Spain to take advantage of cheap property, relaxed planning regulations and low cost of living. Brexit ruined many peoples plans. Also, you need to be sure that you really will be independent, and not flying back "home" to Spain every year. Having a life split between two countries which don't have a convenient rail link is not going to be sustainable. | |
