Jan 15, 2020 at 10:01 comment added KubaFYI I do that. I did a trip home by train several times but including the changes and necessary layovers it takes 3 days each way. Not exactly personally sustainable given limited vacation days.
Jan 15, 2020 at 8:29 comment added THelper I realize 2000 miles is a lot, but if you are really dedicated to making a statement regarding climate change, and if you really want to see your family, you could go and visit them by public transport (trains and buses). Perhaps when your family sees you making this big effort to reduce your emissions then they will understand how strongly you feel about it (and how much you still want to visit them regardless).
