I have had a Panasonic Aquarea ASHP installed. The manual talks about a "water temperature thermal shift setting" which can be set to -5oC to 5oC. It doesn't make it clear at all what a "thermal shift" actually is or does!

Does anybody know what this shift setting refers to?
